AMERICANA!

Our theme for 2005 was Americana.  Everyday we had something red, white, and blue!  Our eight wonderful days included hanging out, swimming, bowling, mini golf and lots of other exciting activities!!

EACH MONTH UNTIL NEXT YEAR'S CAMP, WE WILL ADD AT LEAST 10 NEW PICTURES TO THIS PAGE.

Bowling

One of our annual off-site activities that the campers really enjoy is a visit to the local bowling alley.

 

 

 

   

   

     

  

 

Fire Fighters

This year we received a visit from a the local Upper Greenwood Lake Volunteer Fire Fighters, Engine 5.  They took the time to teach the campers about their equipment, tankers, and some important fire safety tips.

 

 

  

 

 

 
 

 

Camp Fire Sing Along

Local musician Larry Morris visited camp one night to play his guitar around the camp fire for our campers and counselors to enjoy and sing along.

 

 

 

 

 
 

 

Spa Ladies

Another annual event is a visit from our favorite spa ladies who take the time to make each of our campers express themselves while relaxing!  Everyone, including member of our Board of Directors, gets involved.

 

   

 

 

 
 

 

Mad Scientist

The mad scientist who visited us last year came again with a bunch of new and exciting experiments for our campers to participate in and enjoy.

 

 

 
 

 

Karaoke Night

Yet another tradition of Hope With Heart is our annual Karaoke night.

 

 
 

 

Talent Show

Each year the campers and their counselors get to strut their stuff by performing in our annual  talent show.  They work on their act all week long, and boy does it show.

There was a great rendition of ABC...

There was comedy...

   

There was artistic creation...

There was instrumental performances...

There were magic tricks...

Counselors and Staff

 

Hitting the counselors with whip cream pie is always a blast!

 

Of course special bonds are always made between our campers and our counselors.

        

 

Our staff is full of caring, understandable, & responsible individuals.

   

 

 

 

Our Senior Staff works hard all year to make sure our campers have a great time!
