When 7-year-old Jack came to camp this year, he was our youngest camper and a first year camper to boot. You could never have guessed, because he had such a blast! His family wrote everyday, including his aunts and uncles. Before camp, Jack had told his mother she was to come pick him up mid-week on Wednesday. On Tuesday night he was in a panic that his mom was going to just show up to take him home and he me needed to stop her; he wasn’t going anywhere! Little did he know I was talking with his mom twice a day and she knew he was getting along just fine. Jack was very active and in the middle of every activity. Jack thought his counselors were the best and his cabin was “awesome!” When leaving camp that last day, Jack was already asking all about next year. I think Jack will be a camper for the next decade!
